Just letting you guys know, it looks like Andrew will be meeting me at Kempsey at around 8am, we will be heading through some backroads into Wauchope and heading to Tamworth that way, if anyone wants to come down via the coast with us it would mean leaving Brisbane around 1:30-2am, to give you QLDers some idea.

I'm in, and yes I'm taking the V12 lounge chair. I vote a decent rest stop half way to get an hour ot two of sleep, I actually fell asleep at the wheel last year which is something I don't want to do again.

w00t! be great to see the V12 boat in the flesh. also to avoid sleeping at the wheel, isn't there a Shiatsu-massage function in the driver's seatback?

ouch - having a prang on the home stretch would have sucked big time.

I drove from Dubbo to Brisbane yesterday, took me just over 9 hrs and I stopped 3 times for around 10 - 15 mins each. Was quite a good run from Dubbo to the QLD border, then the road was terrible for a hundred or so k's.

I am keen to go to this too so add me to the maybe list, I just have to convince someone to come with me, don't want to drive by myself all that way. All my friends are Holden/Ford bogans !!! why!?!!?!

Unfortunately I have a skyline nut driving down with me.
I still got to work out where I'm going to meet you guys. I work at Amberley but I'll have to pick up my mate from somewhere.
