    Default FCD in MZ21 problems

I recently found that my car has a fuel cut defencer, but at the time it wasnt connected properly. I found a wiring diagram for it > 7m and found that wire x from the ecu had already been cut and intercepted by the FCD in the past, but for some reason the past owner must have disconnected it.

I connected it back to how the diagram said and started her up..... idled pretty much perfect (as well as the old 7m does). As soon as i applied any throttle though the revs drop dramatically almost to the point of stalling unless i release the throttle.

I adjusted the FCD to max in both directions (standard cut vs less cut) and the same problem... Whats the deal!!!???

Edit: As soon as the FCD is unwired from the car it runs as per normal.

    Any help greatly appreciated

It'll need an earth, a live & the two other wires T into the one of the ECU wires (AFM output I think) so the afm wire is cut, join that to one end, the other wire joins to the ecu side of the cut wire.

Sounds like one end of the wire is not connected, as soon as the revs rise theres no afm signal

Thats exactly whats been done, yet still no good! im baffled... unless the pos and neg wires arent connected properly, i didnt think to check that! Remember kids assumption is the basis of all f*ck ups!
