Default WSID revisited, this Wed, 31st Jan.

Due to the weather causing the drags to end early last week , & my inability to achieve a 12 second timeslip , I've decided to extend my visit to Sydney & attend WSID once again.
Same deal as last week, everyone is welcome to come along & either try to improve on the dismal times from last week (was I the quickest Toymodder out there with my 13 flat???) or come & watch & give copious shouts of support.
The weather forecast differs from paper to paper, SMH tells me late showers but Yahoo weather promises the day to be mostly sunny, but I have faith it'll be like last week & look like it might rain, meaning plenty of runs for the people that actually show up (but this time the rain will fail to eventuate).

Hopefully I'll see a few of you there!

Where are the times from last week? Jeez

    BTW NEVER TRUST THE WEATHERMAN!

I found out on Saturday that they could not even predict the weathe an hour in advance. Went from definite showers and thunderstorms to possible at 4pm and then it didn't eventuate. I really don't know why they even attempt to predict it 7 days agead

I can't get time off work but if it looks darkish when I get out of work I'll make a dash out to WSID and see if I can get a few runs in.

Well! If my wheels have arrived from Melbourne, I might bring out my MX83 for some fun. Never done this before so I guess there has to be a first for everything eh! I'm curious to know what a stock 1UZ will do.

    Cheers, D

Yeah mate, Jesses idea actually worked & hooking the lines up the other way around resulted in big smokey burnouts for everyone to enjoy!
More demonstrations of the line lockers helpfullness will be made tomorrow night.

You're insane dude. I never even count on being able to drive the 10 K's back to my place let alone half way across the country.
