It rained after I'd had one disgraceful run.

Joel left to drive back to Adelaide.

    The rain stopped.

I got 3 more runs in including a PB.

Good times were had by all, even Joel who ran his beloved 12.

    joshstix: what was your PB?

Congrats to Joel on the 12! Would it have been less than 12.67?

    I ran 12.38 @ 114 I think.

I'll let Joel break the news of his actual time though.

Sorry mate, but you're shit out of luck there.

My daily driver runs 12s!!!!!!! And then I drove it 1500kms home, with nil incidents (well, with the car that is ).

What does yours run Matt? Isn't it an almighty 2J??? Surely it must do ninez?!?

Ahh, forgive me, I just arrived home in Adelaide after 14 hours of driving through the night & half of today, with 2 hours of unsuccesfully trying to sleep in the middle of the Hay plains, so my head is a little scattered as the drugs are wearing off......

So anyway, I managed to pull a 12.885 followed by a 12.9 something last night, so I am quite chuffed. I also did sick skidz, almost on par with the 9 second rigoli VL I lined up on my second run. I swear!
I'll try to find some pics of it.....

Congrats also to all the other personal bests achieved last night, Josh that time's quite respectable, not considering how much more there should be in it! Karl/Officer Doofy ran a PB of 13.2 in his 1J MX83, and Linden/Roadrunner Fabrications took out his drift mobile & gave it a run down the strip, but I can't remember what it was. Still, it must have been a PB as it was his first time out.

    Now I'm off

    OMG

    Check out Jasons wheel stand!!!

    http://www.fullysickphotos.com.au/

Click on the pic, go to galleries up the top, then 31-1-07 WSID street meet,
then 31-1-07 cars, then page 3 bottom R/H corner.

Lots of rep to anyone who can post the pic up here, it's freakin AWESOME!

Jase, you might not have got a PB time, but that's gotta be a PB wheelstand!

That's an RX3 dude. I dunno if that guys name is Jason but I suspect he's not the one Joel's talking about.

I think Jase was the next line down. There are actually some pretty decent pics on that page, I've never seen that one before.

The wheel stand Jase got on the later run last night was pretty damn tough from all reports. That little Datto 1200 of Jason's mate was an absolute animal to watch, when he pulled second pointed at about 30 degrees into the other lane on the last run I was in awe. I can't comprehend the balls it takes to drive serious cars like that.
