Yeah that's why i got it.
I haven't taken photos of the whole car yet but it just looks like an ordinary KE20. Was built a long time ago from what i know. Don't know what motor was planned for it but it cant have been too big.
Tube chassis only goes half way along car.

A little help identifying the diff & front hubs would be good too. Spring mounts have been welded to the diff & it just looks like a later model but its been awhile since I've had a car later than a KE20.
I think front disc looks like ke30?

    Here is the car

Still need to identify what struts are and the diff.

Stub size i think is the same as some ke70 bearings i have here.
    The tubes are 270mm tall.

Here is the bottom of the strut. Hole centres are 85mm.

And what diff is this? its 10 bolt & the centre is 210mm & its 1220mm wide.

Diff could possibly be a shortened commodore one?

Nah i think its toyota. Would just like to know what its from. Only mods are removing old mounts & welding new ones on it seems.

Edit: thinking about it i think it may be just a t series diff but its been awhile since ive looked at one

This is an early commodore rack. They arnt a bad choice as they are easy to cut down and mount. They are used in the states so there are plenty of parts around and you can get just about any uni joint to suit any column. I got on to suit the commodore rack to the ke70 double-D shaft. They pic you posted looks like a similar rack.

Thanx guys ive confirmed that its VB commodore as i found some markings that say TRW & the part number.
So the ke70 shaft fits? I might grab one and see how it goes into a KE20.

Still need to identify the struts as it would help setting up some brakes.

Ok after lots of measuring and searches the discs seem to be corona RT80 or Celica TA22.
Ive found measurements of the TA22 strut & mine are heaps shorter. They may have been shortened but they are original oil with no insert.

I cant find a measurement for the lower bolts on a TA22 strut can anyone help?

Yeah i just pulled one apart and i think the original rod may have been shortened & re threaded.

Is this a TA22 part? I havent been able to find a photo.
