    that is spot on owen. black yellow stripe is the wire i immobilise. which is ignition. and as i stated earlier, earlier toyotas don't have the blck/red wire. so it is redundant for you taa0000022222

    I second Mos' switch interrogation.

    If you only need the 4 that come out or whatever and this one is not needed you could always use it as a relay trigger wire (provided it does anything) and also depending on what position it allows current to flow in.

    i was looking at this yesterday thinking the same thing on my ta23 when i threw the test light on it (the small black un striped wire) was getting power on crank same as the black with white hope this helps at all

    Holy dead thread revival batman!! I think this is the worst case of thread necromancy I have seen in some time. Almost 3 years, you could have left it another 2 months couldn't you?? haha.

    Might want to check the date of the last post before dragging up thread again. And I haven't seen DQIKST on here for some time, he is kinda MIA...
