You don't have to plumb in to the intake like he did. He just wanted to feed the air from the bleed valve back to the intake instead of the atmosphere.

i only feed one compressor outlet into the boost controller.
i dont see why there should be any pressure difference between between the 2 comp housings.
ive never had issues :S

You often see the compressor outlet reference ditched in favor of a manifold reference so that the wastegates are actuated by MANIFOLD pressure rather than compressor outlet pressure.
In this case the wastegate will not open, or else closes quicker, on gear changes so spool up "can" be increased. You will also see more constant boost between hot and cold days where IC efficiency has a minor affect on max boost.
The only advantage of individual actuation of each wastegate is that if one turbo starts to go to shit, the other will still run the way it did regardless. Hypothetically, when running both off a common reference one turbo could be dead/dying, and the other would have to flow all the extra air up to your given boost before the wastegates would actuate = not efficient for the good turbo...

If one is farked, its not gonna spin backwards and allow air to loop unless you've thrown an exhaust turbine. I was thinkin more long the line of bearing failure where its coked or semi-coked. This T would just spin a lot less for given exhaust pressure, and contribute less to the intake flow.
Its the "spin up big time" of the other one thats the prob. Say its making 75% of the total engine air instead of its fair 50%. Thats a massive extra flow from the good turbo just to get to the set boost. Thats gonna throw the efficiency off the map before the wastegate opens... (edit) but i see what you mean that this would happen regardless of if theres one line split into two or one to each wastegate.
IMHO tho i wouldn worry either coz id modify it to be plumbed from the manifold, and if one of those baby turbos died, id just go big single... Was kinda scratchin for a reason why toyota would engineer it with two. They usually have reasons for most things. Neat factory vacuum lines have never seemed to be a priority![]()
