You should be -ve repped for putting a Holden V6 into a Toyota![]()
Whilst installing the commodore V6 into my YN57 hilux, i discovered the fuel outlets out of the fuel tank are a fair bit too small. After going to the trouble of braising up a new fuel line, and melting the rubber gasket, i went to the wreckers to get another, i discovered that the LN40 - (i guess all diesels would be similar) - actually has a bigger fuel outlet - and is the perfect fit into the YN57 tank - problem solved!
Thought this might stop the rest of you with petrol models looking for the bigger lines.

Why where you changing the outlets on the tank?
I hope your not running it without a surge tank
im using the orig outlets with a lift pump then surge tank with which goes into a bosch 984 and then lines that are twice the size of the originals

I got a lift pump filling a surge tank then double the size lines the rest of the way. Iwas thinking of a bigger tank though. I seam to have a problem driving conservitively....
