    Hey Jill,

Pretty sure that Karl has knocked this one on the head...
Karl when you say "EFI fuel system" I assume you mean surge tank, efi pumps etc... did you need to upgrade the fuel line size in yours?

This link may have some info for ya http://www.toymods.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3525

Its a fair bit of work converting it over, especially the wiring. Good luck!

Water temp sensor, cold start switch. Not sure where these are located on a 2TGEU but you'll need them - might be fitted to thermostat housing?

Water temp sensor (green plug), you are correct.

Cold start switch (brown plug) - not needed, just plug the hole. I have never hooked up the cold start injector on any conversion i've done - they are really only needed for stupidly cold conditions, the factory cranking enrichments are PLENTY.

    Hi,

Or.... get your carbs properly tuned by someone that really knows what they're doing. The old 2T-G EFI system will not give you any more power or performance compared to the carbs.

    Not this again....

.... dont listen to him, he's gone senile. EFI will give you more useable power for everyday driving, with a much more torque down the lower end of the rev range.
Sure carbies have the max power advantage, but the EFI shits on them eveywhere else.

    Hi,

Well of course, if you're going to turbo it then FI is the way to go. But there was no mention of turbo in the initial post.

Also, to clarify... I'm talking about the original FI that came with these engines wasn't any better than carbs. The reason manufacturers originally went with FI was to meet emission standards, not for performance.

The latest EFI systems and ECUs offer fantastic performance.
