    Default 1jz hi-cam...

hi.. im from malaysia... currently running 1jz engine frm jza90 into corona tt132... by d way i would like to ask where i can actually get the cam of duration 264 inlet and 272 exhaust and a pair of adjustable cam pully? i just couldnt hook up to any of those item here.... even a used one i wouldnt mind as long as its not worn....

my current setup currently running on t70 turbine on hks manifold,2jz injectors,2 bosch high rate fuel pump( one pump fuel to surge + frm surge to engine) , PS fuel enhancer controller ,blitz fuel cut defencer and hks evc to control boost frm a 50mm trust wastegate...running on 1.4bar...and my dyno chart shows powerband drop just after 6500rpm mark....and was told that wat im lack off is a pair of cams to bring up my powerband at the top end towards the 7500rpm mark...could anyone enlightened me on tis?

many of the forums sponsors would be able to sell you those items.... have a look in the for sale section and in the forum sponsors sub directory...

As you are in Malaysia, I would go with www.greenline.jp or www.nengun.com. Probably easier and cheaper.

My PFC was pretty quick, but the last lot I got took a good 4 odd weeks. I find them kinda slow to reply to enquires to. I guess it depends how much you spend!

Greenline is fast with email replys, tho I haven't brough any thing from them yet!

I wouldn't bother. Spend the money on a stand alone ecu. AFAIK the mines just dumps more fuel, advances the time a little and raises the boost to ~10psi. Thats on the JZA70 anyway, I'd assume same engine - similar tune on the ecu.

With your set up, you'll definatly get a better result from a stand alone ecu.

I agree. Only thing is the availability of tuners there. Personally, I would be looking at a microtech lt12s with x6 igniter, www.wbo2.com wideband and a knocksense from Canada. The whole thing will cost about $2000AU but then if you have the knowledge you can tune it and FINE TUNE it yourself.

Also, would love to see pics of your car and some more details on current power figures. I have a 1jz in a corona but XT130 and as far as I know it is one of the only ones in Australia. Open up a thread in members rides and put all the details in there!

Hey, Just a quick note on who to buy from. Stay clear of Nengun. I've just been semi-screwed by them. Too long to get into here, but it probably best to just go through Greenline.

Does toymods have a trader rating section at all? I'd post the full story up there if there is.

Nope, as most would be negative which puts them in legal issues.

I just ordered a cam gear from greenline and it was 100% no hassle and arrived in 7 days.
