    Default 1j clutch kit

    Can anyone a recomend a good clutch kit for the 1jzgte / R154. Prefer Melb. Must be drivable, dont want it too hard.

    mate thats a vague question..... is it a 500hp car or standard etc etc etc..

    looking at up to 300kw at rear wheels. Still want clutch for everyday use, so it cant be too heavy.

    r u serious? u want a 400rwhp car and still want a "nice driveable clutch"....

    i think you need to do some thinking and have a realistic look at your power levels and ring a clutch place and disguss it.

    Check this - I asked the same question:

    Spoke to Exidy - they have a modified pressure plate - clamp pressure of 1020kg and uses the standard clutch plate - about $736

    They also have a higher rated one as well - I think it was about $1100

    'up to 300kw max' is more realistically 200-250 at the wheels, but thanks guys, will call exedy today.
