I'm up for it.
I'll get the MR2 going to run it next week.
Dyno Day 12.5
With the Dyno crapping itself today, a lot of people didn't get a chance to turn the rollers and compete at our January Dyno day. It was a shame to bring the day to a close early but we have had a good run so far. (It was Dyno day 12 and up till now we haven't even had rain)
Of the 20 cars who had registered but couldn't run, only 5 were happy to come back next Sat if it was finished then. So the question is.....
Who would compete if we finished dyno day 12 next saturday. ?
Only reply here if you will DEFINITELY be attending and running on the Dyno. We will only be holding Dyno day 12.5 if we have a minimum of 20 People to compete.
We will check this thread on Wed afternoon to see the numbers.

How will things like awards work ?
Will numbers from both days be combined and the best of both win the actual award ?
Since the dyno is running in shootout mode, this shouldn't be an issue, but I imagine some people may not be happy with that situation.
I'm in for Saturday

The dyno having and electrical melt down was something we couldn't have forseen or prepare for. The SCR block that melted is only the second one to fail in the life of the Dyno and last time it was upgrade from a 50Amp unit to a 100Amp unit. In theory it should have been fine indeifnatly. As a result tho over half of the intended entrants didn't get to run. In all fairness we feel its only right to make sure everyone had an equal oppertunity to compete so the figures for both Days will count. The dyno runs in Shootout mode so while it not ideal its more than acceptable to run the event over the two days, think of it as a really long lunch
The results from both days will count equally towards the trophies and the same rules apply, Only an entrants first run counts so while anyone who enterered today is welcome to run their car again next saturday, Only their first run counts for both days ! (Ie if you ran today and saturday only your first run from today counts towards the trophies)
However any club members run on a Toymods dyno day is eligible for the records page.

Answered, see above
Thanks a heap Rod. Explained everything very well in that post.
I might make an appearance. Put me down as 50% chance.
Was Jodi the highest runner of the day? (ie. current winner)
Yup on 374 or so RWKW.
i'll definatly be there. with all the powe of the 3s-ge.
As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are
I've got a really big exhaust leak before the turbo to find and fix before then, so depending on how much trouble it is, I may or may not make it. IE, snapped bolt or small crack, I may make it, if I need to remake a manifold though, I've got no chance.
I'm a 30% chance I'd say
I will be there, and will run my car.... no stopping me
...... butt scratcher?!
i know you said only reply if definate but i can only commit 80%
does it matter if you wern't signed up last week but can make it this week??
thanks
James
