fuel coming out of the dump, thats some pretty serious overfuelling, is it wired correctly?
id try getting the injectors cleaned professionaly too.
hey people im in need of some help i have a 4agte with ems(inbuilt ignitor model) all was fine its only running on 2cyl and i think its wetting up the plugs the auto elec thinks its the ecu any ideas

I have a Crown
check you are getting a pulse from the ECU.... you could wire LED's in place of the injectors (with appropriate resistor for 12V), and you will see them flash each time they get a pulse.. then you can tell if the ECU is not set up right
unless you have a scope?

if the auto electrician is the one saying 'i think it's the ecu' then it's probably time to find another sparkie.
-have you wired up the engine as per the supplied diagrams for the ECU? if not, then redo it properly
-have you wired up the power source and supply to the injectors so the ECU is providing the earth for them? 1 injectors 100% on suggests someone has fucked up the wiring.
-how can you call 'running on 2 cyl' fine? most people would call that running like shit.
-has it ever run on all 4 cyl without missing/flooding? and if yes, what has changed since then?
more info about the EMS would be good.
all was going well this was just an overnight thing one of the injectors was constantly glowing while the others were bearly pulsing so i thought wire prob short/earth so towed it to shop and they say cant find foult must be ecu that will be $270, so just thought i would ask if u can get this type of foult by a damaged ecu before i go through the harness as ems dont open till mon also its a EMS 4424 V3 WITH BUILT IN IGNITORS
constantly glowing - we'[re talking about lights on the ecu for each injector driver? and as in 100% on - or it was pulsing but the others barely flickering?
i'd check the connectors on the injectors and also trace the power supply from the relay to injectors to ecu and then to earth.
actually - when in doubt, check and re-check any ECU/loom earths as 90% of electrical faults are usually an earth problem.
It could be that only one injector is correctly connected to the ECU.
Can you hook your laptop up to the ECU and see if it OK?
