    Default GZ20 Front Shocks

Wonderin if anyone knows anything about em. My front left shock has had it's day so I want to replace the front two of course.

It's an auto gz20 with a 1ggteu and it's got TEMS which I want to keep. Any suggestions on how I should go about doing this (ie. anything speical i need to know) or is it sweet just to head to a local mechanic and whack in the usual monroe gt gas ones they fit.

    Cheers.

KYB make the tems shocks...afaik you can still buy them from toyota brand new as well

    but why though?

grab a good condition second hand set of JZA70 bilstiens, piss off the tems...and be happy

Yeah but I'm trying to keep the car in the most stock condition as I possibly can. It's immaculate and I'd had to ruin it's beauty. Plus TEMS has it's advantages. Driving on craptastic Sydney roads it's good have it on normal auto. And when I hit the highway I can push sports auto and get that extra bit of tightness

Where can I get these KYB ones?

A few people have had theirs rebuilt. Are there any suggestions for quality/value for money places in the Sydney area anyone knows of?

Just trying to keep as many options open as possible.

    Appreciate the help.

    Cheers.
