They are almost all made in china, so you might be better off getting one locally or importing some yourself if you're in malaysia.

Intercoolers are intercoolers. There might be a little difference in efficiency between core types, but they all do basically the same thing.

Agree - go local if u can but for a starlet u don't need one that big, look for somethin smaller that would be easier to install, 300 or 400 x 300 x 75 would have plenty of cooling capacity and save u money, bar and plate or tube and fin doesnę really matter for your application, cheers Rosie.

The JustJap/CP/Chinese copy intercoolers do the job nicely. And not to mention are very very cheap.

Cause you are in Sarawak, i'd suggest ringing the performance shops in and around KL to find an intercooler. Short of actually buying it direct from china to begin with.

    bigger is always better
I have seen these coolers get 2- 300kw with no problem the core heat doesnt get 1/4 across the sore sitting idle in traffic or the hottest days

just assumed this was going on a starlet, daily driver? Is up to you tho, but think there is no advantage having a 600 compared to a 300 in this applicaction. But if thats what you want then go 4 it, price is pretty good too for that size.

Josh (emp?) makes over 300rwkw with the 450mm version. I'd say one of the smaller ones would suit you fine.

yeah as i accumulate part for my project 3TC turbo KP61. it may cost twice as much for the same size if i get it from dealers in Malaysia. that y i prefer to buy it in Aussie..
currently the 3TC combo is in Mazda 808 chassis as u all can see here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2200750
i'm doing upgrading on turbo right now and may be will move the whole thing over a KP61 or a KE70.
