Default RA40 to RA28 exhaust system help please!!!

    Hey guys!
okay ive taken off all the brackets and have taken off the inlet and exhaust manifold... how the hell do i get it out from under the car?
does it need to be cut where it goes over the diff so the front piece and the rear piece can come out? or is there some other way of getting it out?

    Cheers,
    Kenno

will it come out if you take the rear wheel off and slide it sideways so the back bit is beside the car then slide it out?

nah that wont work because all the suspension is in the way but thanks anyway...
i guess im just going to have to cut it off where it goes over the diff... because it is facing upwards, its easier when it comes to welding it back together...

    cheers,

You dont have to cut it. if you undo the rear shockie and jack the car up you will get a heap more suspension travel and that will allow you to get the exhaust over the diff

as dave says you have to really get the car on a ramp & take off the n/s shock to drop the backend down & then manouver the exhaust off its really tight but with a wee bit of pressure it comes off.
