    Default IAC on ITBs

Any one got any clever suggestions on putting a IAC on a ITB system? should i just weld in a bung in each runner for a line to the IAC valve?
or just not use a IAC?

    Help would be handy

That's how Toyota did it with the 20v. It works OK if you get the runners the right size - On the 20v, they are about 1/4" or so.

I've got an evil plan to use a stepper motor to actually move the throttle stop - It will need some 'trickyness' with a sllding bellcrank arrangement and a remote TPS, but I think it might work.

Once upon a time I, too, had an evil plan to use the moving throttle stop from an electric carb EA Falcon for a similiar purpose. Never ended up trying it yet, though.

merc are you running a booster at all, just leave it as it is and run the booster of no 4 and leave the throttles all sepperate and use a carby balancer to set them up .on my motor all my throttles are seperate to each other

yeah it would only be fore the IAC valve so they would still be sepate just aith a AIC valve to control idle,
booster for now will be run off origional place as its a carbie manifold

i not what you are saying but i still have idle about 890 rpm from cold till its warmed up and all i do is just spend a bit of time .ps if you end up using the 20 v quads which you wont they have a bleed screw so you can trim each cylinder as well
