    Default RA65 F Series diffs?

What exactly are they? BorgWarner? excuse my noobness about this but I have no idea.

I am wondering if I can fit a lockrite (http://www.4wdsystems.com.au/html/lokka.htm) which fit borgwarner 25&28 spline diffs. Am I dreaming? Is there any BW that could fit into my RA65?

    Thanks a lot

I think its unlikely, else someone would have done it.

It might be possible that Torson also make a locker system which suits, but i don't think too many of us are after a locked rear axle.
As for this lokka mob, no idea.

Ask if their centre fits an F series Toyota Diff.

    Woops, i meant Detroit too
    Cheers Drav.

Hibino - tru-trac are made by detroit (as in detroit lockers)... might be worth hunting down a locker from them, as they will probably have one made for a f-series.

detroit do a 7.5" EZ-locker, 27 spline. I'm guessing this is the f-series (it says it's for IFS, which is most likely the IFS f-series from the hilux).

I think the EZ-locker is similar to a 1.5way. (not that detroit are very specific about what the ez-locker does)

The borg warners used in the later coronas and ra6# arnt upgradable. As said, if they were, someone would have done it already. I searched high and low to see if they were compatible with the borg warner 78 series those used in commodores and the like. Unfortunately they arnt compatible. The toyota BW's in the toyotas were something like a 75/76 series with 23 splines. The 78 series used 25, 28 splines. Coronas and im guessing celicas would be a bit wider than the norm, coronas measuring in at around 1430mm so im sure a version of the commodore BW 78 series diffs would come close opening the door for their crappy LSD's and the like.
