Well done to nathan!!! 100hp improvement is wikid, not to mention 220hp out of a 1G which just happened to beet a few 1J's

Also well done to STOMPS, man 313hp out of a 7M supra without blowing the head gasket!!! RESPECT!!

PeeWee you crazy boi, that soarer sounds AWESOME, you have inspired me now to get rollin with the Crown conversion.

some disappointments though.. wtf happened with KOOLISM to make it run such low power?

i was expecting 145rwhp... but came in at 121.7rwhp... seems like i have some issues that need sorting too (looks at gearbox...).

i just had a thought though... Stomps how about next time instead of spending $15 on a piece of silicon bend to fix your dodgy PVC intercooler pipe... you hire XSpeed's arc welder for 10 mins and fix that pipe properly??? Painful as it was to see teh p00 motor take the HP King Trophy... well done!

wanted the car to run like a man with a DVD under his arm , but it just didnt want to behave the minute i got off the freeway... damn!

anyways, we got it back NOR to the workshop and swapped a few bits over, and discovered the problem was most likely caused frmo the practice day at MC where it got pretty much thrashed non stop for 5 hours in 36deg heat. new dissy cap and a bit more heatshielding and its all good again, spew.

Damn i forgot to get the other dyno readout printed with the boost readout on it though.

What did KOOLISM pull on the dyno, heard it had some issues?

Lookin forward to the next with a few more mods and non-smokey turbos!

Hey Guys!

Glad the event was enjoyed by all that attended.
And despite a slow start, the day got rolling and everything when well.

I think a few people discovered their cars not operating properly - while others jumped around with glee at their HP figures.
Ahh well, thats what drags and dyno days are for - to see how your car is running and work out how to improve.

dont worry bout the KOOLISM, obviously has some torque converter/gearbox issues there, but running a healthy 23psi it it sure to crank out some awesome figures once we swap that box and converter over.

thats the right side of the dyno chart yes? says 17.0?! not sure.. ill post it in a bit.

the thing is that the box felt a lot stronger when i bought the car and wasnt as erratic as it is now. i feel like im losing torque in the drivetrain somewhere.. but i know its not the clutch/flywheel because i just replaced those... like sometimes ill give it a bit of throttle and it will catch on and rev nicely and power goes to the wheels..then intermittently it will drop off for a sec even though the revs are still going up then kick back in again... its like ive got two different TVIS rushes... yech! when its cold, theres a lot of noise when slipping into gears.. when its warm.. it really feels like im losing power in the drivetrain somewhere..
