    Default Help needed please KE25

I am trying to find what lower arms I can use with with any Toyota/ Celica struts to go into my KE25 which will be the same length as the original arms. I have spent hours searching these forums without any luck.I dont want to lengthen the originals as Engineers don't like seeing cut and welded arms.

i am 100% unsure of the size of the ke25, but i used AE86 struts brakes and xt130 LCA's on my AE71.

Thanks anyway but the later arms were all about the same length. T he ke25 arms are about an inch longer than any others I have.

If you want the same length, why do you want to swap the arms? You can do plenty of brake upgrades on the stock LCA and steering arm, using a variety of struts.

As i've said in many a thread, i'm using R31 struts, R32 280mm discs and 4 piston calipers, and an off the shelf caliper adapter. The option is there to use 296mm and 4 pots, or even the stock R31 250mm. You can even choose between 4 or 5 stud based on hub selection. I will be doing a full writeup on all this in the next couple of weeks if you're patient, mine are almost assembled. Bolts to stock lower control arm / steering arm.

If thats not the reason, well i don't know what other arms you can use

I'm afraid that this doesn't really apply If only spoontah bits were usable, plenty of brake and strut options for takumi

Thanks I will keep an eye out. The whole problem I am having is that I want to keep the original track and camber but all the later Toyota struts seem to have shorter LCA's. I have a pair of ra23 struts, ae71 struts, ta22 struts and more. Are the struts you are using Nissan R31.

Correct, you'll find that a whole range of early datsun/nissan struts are the correct pattern for ke2x LCA. There is 1 deg positive kingpin angle difference between the R31 strut and stock ke2x. You'll want to check this on whatever strut you use toyota or not, it won't necessarily be the same..

Not like they're expensive, i paid 30 a side from pick n pay.

You've still not said your reason for wanting to swap struts?

The reason I want to swap struts is to get some better brakes . Unless you have any other ideas where I can keep KE25 struts. I am running KE55 rotors and calipers but they are not up to it. Thanks again Rob.
