    Post Classics in the Park

Just wondering who might be interested in putting on a display at Classics in the Park in November this year? An OST display or just some classic Toyotas?

    Some more details at

Yeah, I know. Just trying not to forget this year, and guage interest from others in advance.

As the date gets closer, I'll firm things up. In the meantime, I'll just be trying to keep up with how/when I need to contact the organisers to get an area for the Toys

Be great to have you along Rudi. I'll keep you updated.

Haven't seen you around before. If your avatar is your car, it looks nice.

Hmm.. looks like a nice event.. but I'm not sure if they'd be interested in our modified cars?

Dave's RA28 would be a nice classic condition car to have down there on display. But I think a display of big stereo's, big wheels and big turbos will be frowned upon by those there with Model-T Fords and expensive Lamborgini's

Cool Re: Classics in the Park

As long as it fits-in with the classic theme, that doesn't necessarily mean non-modified. Although I'm sure they don't want a lot of modern modified cars. For example, my TA22 isn't exactly unmodified, but it's in theme with the car it represents.

But it's not a vintage car show either!

For example, I saw lots of very nice (and modified) Mustangs when I went. But, yes, the emphasis on this event is more classic than modifications and sound systems. That's what the Autosalon events are for

As rare as it is to find a 1983 model GA61 Toyota Celica XX japanese import in Australia ... I think my car will have to sit this one out

But sounds like an interesting show, so I might go down and check it out to support the show scene in Perth
