where is the accomodation at?? i will probably get to goulbourn around 8-8:30ish i think, possibly even earlier.

Actually is there a good place there to take the car for a decent wheel alignment?

Accomodation is in the cabins at the track unless I'm mistaken? Makes it easy to get to the track on time for the morning start

The cabins are on the sheep station next door to wakefield, so it's a 200m roll down the road in the morning. You're right to leave all your stuff at the cabins too. I would any valuables to the track, but we've never had any issues at either the cabins or the track with stuff in the pits.

As to datnet, what exactly have you heard? I have a guy from work coming with a 1600, but i doubt he's online anywhere. Unless there's a couple coming from the other side of the group they're not getting tracktime. It's a privately booked day so only those that we know about and have paid us are getting out on the track.

Matt, where are you coming from on thursday? Once we know what finney's doing we can finalise plans.

So much to do though..

Finish mounting fixed bucket seat.
Tune Scotts T18 boost upgrade.
Oil change in Celica & AE86.
Wheel alignment on AE86 and RA28
Wash all the cars so they look pretty for the day ha.

oil cooler is mounted.. just not hooked up when thats all done the oil change will be at the same time, engine mounts being done today as they are shagged, brakes to be done on thursday...

also would like to squeeze in a wheel allignment aswell at some point as it's not 100%.

will hopefully know by the end of the day as to whether i'll be driving down on thursday.

Argh, ok, there are now spots available again! Damien's got all confused and let work take a higher priority, and a guy who was taking that recent spot has gone awol instead of giving me money. He's still in the running, but it's up to whoever commits first and gets money to me.

So, 2 spots are available, and i'd like them filled today, or tomorrow at the latest. Who wants them??

Sounds like they've heard of it through somebody and don't realise it's a pre-pay, limited spots private day.

It's definately our day they're talking about, i know one or two people mentioned as being involved, and there's usually a datto or 2 at our days, so i'd say the people coming are them. It didn't sound like there's many of them planning on coming or getting out on the track.

I rang a couple of people earlier today and we're fine - wakefield isn't double booked, it's our day, and there's only one person with The List; anybody not on that as paid won't be getting out on the track.

Might be a couple of disappointed dattos hanging around though.

It's taking all of my will power to say no to running at this one with these new spots open.

But I just cannot justify it at the moment. I need to spend some serious money on tyres, brakes, clutch/flywheel and LSD before heading out there again but I'm just itching to get out there. I need a second car so I can have one on standby for moments like this

I'll still be there to take pics though, but I'll pack the helmet just in case.

If I did I know I'd have to spend money on it soon after and I'm still trying to save. I just don't feel confident putting the car through it at the moment.
