By wing mirrors you mean the ones out on the front panels, not on the doors?
KP61 Starlets were never released in Oz, and the mirrors are not mounted in that way on any Aussie sold models since the early 70's.
Cheers,

"wing" mirror?
they're referred to just as the passenger and drivers side mirrors,
back on topic, as far as i know, only up spec'd cars had them, i know for a fact that the MA70 has them, and that the nissan silvia has them, im pretty sure the soarers have them aswell Z20?
the starlet is a smaller car, so the supras mirrors might look a bit out of shape, the silvia might be the go... also, these cars dont have the metal surrounds for the door glass, i.e. when you open the door, theres only glass above the door, no metal around it.
either way its going to be a custom job, so it will reaquire quite a bit of work.

The mirrors on my Jackaroo (Bighorn or Trooper outside Oz) retract when you press a button on the console. But those mirrors are WAY to big for a Starlet.

Depends what model Starlet.
The drop hatch RWD models (83-84) have what look like the same mirrors as KE70 sedans, so may be able to find the Jap spec equivelent to replace them. And yes the door glass is different on those models to allow for the mirror mount. Try www.kp61.net or www.club-k.co.nz.

oh, i just remembered, the AE82 FX-GT Jap Spec 2 door corolla would probably be your best bet for something that fits well, i know they're electric, im not 100% as to whether they retract or not :/

Chaser/Cresta/MarkII had folding mirrors. There's a button just below the mirror adjusting stick that when pressed makes the mirrors fold in for parking and such. They're nice mirrors and a damn site smaller than bnicho's Jackaroo ones but still could be too big for a Starlett.
And I've heard a lot of people refer to side mirrors as wing mirrors, and thus it's an acceptable term to use in my opinion.

Yeah, wing mirrors is legal.

Thanks all...i'd have to look at something like an AE 92/111/101 setup for the retracts,,,will let you know how it comes out.
