    Default Are these MS65 Hubs?

Is there anyway of confirming that these are 65 units? I read somewhere that there are differences (bearing size) between 85 and 65.I know they defiantly came off a Crown with 4 headlights.

get an outer bearing from a RA23/28/40/60/63/65 and see if it fits into the outer taper of the hub. it will either sit in there like its made for it or it will nearly fall through.

    easily noticable difference.

ms85 bearings are bigger than MS65 and above listed celicas

    Yes, they're the ms65 ones.
ms85's, from what i've seen look quite different. The outer edge of the mounting face shapes around the studs.

Thanks fella's. Got a spare RT142 strut/hub assembly and fitted the 5 stud hub to that, with much delight to see that its a MS65 hub

As I mentioned in another thread, I'm using a different setup, so these are for sale.

Well I'm confused now. I tried fitting these to MS65 and the outer bearing is too big. If it fits the RT142, shouldn't they fit the RA65 and some of the other Celica's listed above as they use the same strut assembly?

Maybe its just the bearings that are different not the hubs? And if you used the right bearings you could use MS85 hubs?

You need to machine the hubs slightly and use different (read not off the shelf at Supercheap therefore exxy) bearings if you want to use MS85 hubs. Wilbo666 did this as have I.

Simple answer is that using a simple photo, nobody here can actually identify what those hubs are. Put up the part numbers of the bearings, in particular the bits that are pressed into the hub.

All that GT said is true.

I've put together a short guide, pretty well says what needs to be done to make MS85 hubs fit...
