    Default What calipers are these?

Hey guys I have pulled off my TA22 front caliper as it has locked up but need to identify it to get a kit.
I have never seen these markings before?

I tried to colour in the markings to show up a bit better but it still hasnt brought it up as well as possible.

    Anyhoo,
From the top left its #3,B then 3 triangles each one behind the other slightly then #4

In the middle id #45 then what looks like the hazard/nuclear sign

And the bottom code is 2022

Basically the front right caliper was not letting any fluid through and I am going to re kit it aswell as the left...

Im yet to pull off the the rears calipers so hopefully they will be from a Toyota of some description

    Thanks for helping in advance,
    Nath

Hi Nathan, just take the caliper with you. When you visit your local brake repair place, they will be able to identify it for you, and supply the correct kit. If they get it wrong ,you have some comeback. If on the otherhand someone on the forums says it is "X", and you buy the kit for "X", but it turns out the caliper is "YZ", you wear the stuff up.

    cheers Chuck.

Take a pad out and match it against a DBA catalogue, they have actual scale drawings for all the pads. Then you can use the vehicle applications to narrow the search down.

You have AE86 Sprinter brakes. Plus these are the "twincam JDM" ones to suit a vented 18mm disk. Any AE86 brake seal kit will work, either local Sprinter or vented brakes it should be the same seals.

These brakes are worth good money.

They could possiably be off some other Toyota, but they look identical to the JDM AE86 one I have (holding in my hand). 2022 is the main number that matches up. Other marking are slightly different but they probably refer to build date. Measure the diameter of the piston to be sure.

    ^^^

    Yeh he's right. 2022 means JDM AE86.
