Default Hiace vs Hilux vs Supra centres.

    Hi all

I have my hilux off the road whilst doing the engine conversion..I dont particularly want to take the diff out of it yet as id like to have it there to work out my tailshaft length etc.

the goal of what i am doing is to put a ma70 LSD and gearset into the hilux diff. I also have a hiace diff lying around which i can pull the centre out of....

Just wanting to know, if i take the hiace centre out, and put the ma70 lsd and gearset into that centre ( i know a shim has to be made - will take it to diff shop.) will it bolt straight into the hilux diff?

    thanks all
    Blake

not trying to hijack your thread but just wondering if you can bolt a cressida diff straight into a hilux with the lsd centre and if the axle splines are the same

As long as its G Series it should just about bolt on. Some variances in bearing sizes etc are different.

I've got a MA70LSD in my hilux diff. Wasn't done by me personally, but at the mechanics. Bolted straight in.

The price of the centre, refurbish the lsd, and bolt it all together. Not really.
