well now looking at the diagram, mine is on a 90 angle,...but due to room,,,i had no other choicelol
cheers for the info on the screamer pipes too, ^^^^^^^
having a look at your "basic" layout, I can make one suggestion... in another thread recently, the advantages of joining up the wastegate to the rest of the exhaust further down the dump pipe was discussed... at least 30cm as the recommended length.
So maybe weld in a low-angle joib near the end of your dump pipe.
I'm personally against screamers on street cars, due to the illegal-ness

are they still illegal if you run it thru say,.. a small bike muffler? (or is that then not a screamer?Originally Posted by Draven

for the angle, could you put in say, 2" of 45degree pipe in there? just to lessen the angle a little?

the reason that they are illegal as they dont pass thru the cat converter,,,,,
I think it would fail on two counts Stu, once for not exiting past the last opening, and once for not having a cat to control emissions. I think the noise is just another problem to deal with.

some of them make the gas do a full 180' degree bend,
so i think i should be fine with the way ive got it,...ive got a couple of pics on the camera fone.....
its all welded up now, and looks sweet resting in the car![]()
