Single Conversion, Please Help

Hey Guys/Girls.

Im new to this forum and i have had a search and couldnt find anything.

Basically all i want to know if whether my mate should go single turbo on his JZZ30 Soarer or stick with the twins. What would be cheaper in the long run considering he is looking for 300rwkw.

Also if someone knows what the cost of doing a single turbo conversion would be by itself, and also if anyone can suggest some turbos that would make that power figure.

I'm not going to sit here and do your searching for you, but here are two that I found on my first search (single turbo 1jz). If you get creative I bet you could find hours worth of reading here, and also on the WWW in general.

I have read both links you have posted. They are the ones i did find when i searched. I am after the cost factor more than anything.

I didnt think it would take this long to get an answer?

Lots.

You will need

turbo
manifold
wastegate
oil lines
water lines
cooler piping
FMIC
injectors
ecu of some sort
exhaust

Probably other stuff also that I have missed.

Mine cost me about $6500 and that was with me doing everything myself. Single turbo 1jz in a corona.
