Radiators that fit 4ac ae82

Heading to Brisbane and last time the car was running a little hot at 110 so I am thinking I might swing in a newer radiator. Anyone know if one from an ra65 will fit?

What model corollas will fit? ae92? Just asking as there was heaps at the wrecker and they will be in better condition I would think.

Hey yeah! my old AE71 also started running hot at 110. I thought it was just mine.

Try an ST162 rad, or even a VN commodore rad. When I had the two side by side they were almost the same size and I think the exits were even really close.

Bit of a worry that a 2 liter has the same radiator as a 3.8 V6

Mine has all the fins rotted away so I think this might be my main issue with the heat.

Yeah the radiator looks massive compared to other small engined cars which is why I was asking if the ra65 one fitted. I have a brand new one here waiting to go into the celica.

i reckon a stock replacement would be just fine if you get it flushed to make sure its gonna flow properly and if you flush the engine out.
when you think about it, there were however many thousand of these cars released, and practically all dont have cooling issues.
the lack of fins is gonna be a good way to overheat

i never had problems with running hot, only problem i ever had was on a 40degree day sitting in traffic because of an accident and even then never got near boiling temp.
