    Hey All!

Thanks to those who made it down. Ended up being a great little spot and great weather to catch up with everyone.

Cheers to Chris (hamgaten) who brought the cold drinks down and was happy to share with everyone (+rep)

Few pictures from the day are up:

Hehe yeah i give a lot of attention to detail when cleaning/washing..

First its the trip to the manual carwash where it gets a once over high pressure soap, once over foaming brush, high pressure rinse, low pressure wax, high pressure rinse again and then low pressure spot free rinse..

Then its onto the vacuuming station where i do the vacuuming and car perfume on the seats..

Then its home where i take Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer + Meguiars Microfibre Polishing cloth and go over all the interior panels. Keep in mind that this stuff works wonders on windows too so i do all the T Tops and windows/mirrors in it as well. Then i park out in the sun and go around the body looking for any excess water beads and polish them right off so theres no water drop markings anywhere.

Then i take a bucket and fill it up with Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash, and go to every single rim with the sponge and wash the insides of the rims which didnt get cleaned properly by the manual carwash.

I make sure i polish every bit of brake dust off and then give them a quick dry down with a high absorbtion cloth, then i take the Eagle 1 Tyre Shine and spray it onto every tyre and wipe it on/around with the same cloth. I also get another cloth and i spray the same stuff onto all black stripping around the car as well like the mudguards, side strips and that black part between the bonnet/windscreen.

Then job done. Occasionally i'll give the engine a big degreaser spray down as well but nowhere near as often.

I think i have a problem with perfection I should seek help..

Damm - how long does that take you chris??!
Just the act of washing and drying off my car .. I give at least an hour.
Sounds like you'd spend a good part of the day cleaning your car!

Well done mate - if only everyone took as much care of their cars as you - there would be less bunky's around

usually 3 hours, maybe a bit more. im actually surprised you spend so little time on yours when it shines the way it does (best condition xA61 in the west downpat!), but then again white is a pretty easy colour to maintain.

i think its partly that 3E5 fades so damn easily that im trying to prolong the life of the paintjob by taking good care of it..

yeah, i can see for sure.

what the rest of you dont see is that the price he pays for a clean car means he hasnt been laid in years!

ah well! at least you'll have a nice paint job in a few years

and what was with the two blond twins that had a Vt commodore with OST sticker on it ???
Someone should of asked them to remove it! since it doesn't qualify in any way. It's like me having a pro utes sticker on my car!!!

Sorry I had to leave early, but had to clean the house for xmas, families coming round to mine.
    Any decisions about motorvation display?

I know this is off topic but I think we should try as much as we can to Keep OST stikers only on cars which are PRE 90 JAP.Im guilty of Puting one on me Hilux But after seein the disgrace on a few none OST cars im gona remove it.I say any one is welcome to come on the cruzes but if ya car is not OST your not in the club. I know this seams mean but wats the point in havin a pre 90 jap car club if you allow any car to join. Im sure the guys and girls on the weekend were very nice people but they do already have many car clubs to chose from that would suit there cars perfectly.
