AE92 4AGZE DLI, AFM wiring diagram.

hey hey,

I have searched high and low for a AE92 4AGZE air flow meter wiring diagram, I have found MAP diagrams but this is my first attempt at wiring up a 4AG into a KE70 so id rather have the correct one from the beginning. If its allready out there and ive missed it can some one point me in the right direction.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I too haven't been able to find one of these exact wiring diagrams.

Pop open the ECU and read off the wire codes from the board in there. From these, the MAP AE93 GZE wiring diagram and the wiring for the AFM from an AW11 GZE I think you should be able to work it out.

While I don't have hands on experience here, I'd say the pin names **shouldn't** change between MAP and AFM AE92/3 GZEs. Just the parts related to the MAP/AFM will be different.

It's the same as my jap spec ae92 ecu, only the high/low octane pin doesnt have a resistor connected to it.

ive got an air flow gze loom here i can wire it up for yr ke30 with afew wires left over and all labelled and i can sell it as an exchange wiring job if you get stuck

u have to mod the loom abit cause its a fwd loom goin into rwd engine bay

AW11 are distibutor arnt they ?

Mine is all labelled but a correct wiring diagram makes the job so much easier. I have a mate that works as a auto electrician so he is giving me a hand but like i said a wiring diagram would help.

Sorry, that must have been some bad advice. I was under the impression that the each pin would be named (E1, E2, BATT, etc..) on the main circuit board where the main connector joins to the board. If that's not the case then I apologise.

I've found it typical of the later model toyota ecus to not have the pins marked on the pcb... which is a pita

meh its cool no loss, Its the least of my worries now.

Need to relocate the alternator and i have no idea at the moment.

why do you need to relocate the alternator?

there is no reason to change the alternator position i wouldve thought - read my FAQ regarding internally regulated alternators

The alternator is on the exhaust side due to it being 4agze and its resting on the sway bar and stoping the mounts fitting it to the crossmember properly.

I have worked out the alternator mounting issues now so...

EDIT: My ke70 has a internal regulator in the alternator and not on the loom.

you're kinda stuck with the position of the GZE alternator... unless you custom bracketeerise some kind of bracket for it.

Ive been talking to sam Q about his alternator brackets and trying to get him to make me some, His look 100% better than what mine do and are alot stronger.
