Default Toymods SA Forum Christmas Party - 20th of Dec Coopers Ale House @ 6:30pm Meet 6 on

Ok, since a lot of the other states are doign it maybe we shoudl too.
I know most of the people here havnt known each other for as long as some of the other states, but that is something im keen to change.

Not sure on a venue or a time just yet, but in the same method as i have done the last few ill throw it open for suggestions.

Given that Dylan (Blue_Stivo) will be down from the 18th Dec maybe we should make it after this and before Christmas so it doesnt clash with too many peoples diaries.

Ok, so it is at the Coopers Ale House on the 20th of December. RSVPs done.

Table has been booked for 12 (biggest booking i could get). Booked for 6:30, but ill be there from 5:30 or 6ish onwards to have an after work (last day of the year) beer.

    List of those coming:
    • takai
    • Blue_Stivo +1
    • gerald1
    • Hydra
    • MWP
    • Gavatron
    • ashbox
    • BigPerm

Cars dont need to be any chop, just come along.

Where do people want to have it? Ashes will be over, so itll be easier finding a place.
Tap Inn is often good, but fills up fast with us around.

    Any other suggestions?

Also do people want a "formal" sit down and eat thing, or just a get together and if we eat then we eat if you dont you can always come along and not eat... (like the last meet)?

Like last time. I don't think a formal sort of thing would work with us chumps.

    Maybe the Earl of Leicester?

The Earl has great food... plate sized parmi!!

Finding a place with enough space should be interesting. I guess it depends on numbers.

I think just a get together would be better than the whole "formal" sit down and eat thing. Just get a bite to eat in the pub

The big problem with the Earl is that seating is usually booked. Coopers Ale House is generally a bit better for that. Tap Inn is pretty good for seating too. You generally need seating to be served at all those places too.
