    Heat kills things quicker, batteries included. Some cars get hotter in the engine bay than others. Some cars with a fairly cool bay will go up to 10-15 years on the factory batteries.

    I have a projector onboard, current sensing trickle charger, cos like $79 or something.

    It stays on for long periods and causes no drama's.

    The only problem I have with it is that it won't charge a completely flat battery, so when I forget to hook it up I get problems!
