Given the little info we have to go on.
If the car is full chassis and drag only then the engine bay can be modded in many ways to fit the engine of choice.
Don't be Stout haters
on the contrary i DONT want one to get hymenated grinder styles as you are suggesting, they are too rareOriginally Posted by YLD-16L

Good point, nearly every second farm has one rusting in a paddock soemwhere though so if he "rescues" one of those from the oxidation devil then I guess that'd be alrightOriginally Posted by rob

Definitely MX32. Also looks damn classy when painted up nicely.

i want to put a big block blown chev or ford into it, need leaf springs for the 9" diff....makes it a lot cheaper and easier to convert. but i spose with a little more work the coil spring ass isnt really that bigga drama
probly wanting around 1000hp....maybe a bit more. something that will run 9s consistently, dipping into 8s perhaps...car would need to be tubbed...
Hilux is too light in the rear, and the engine bays are tiny...fyi, the lexus v8 doesnt fit with a radiator etc without cutting the rad panel to extend the bay....so good luck fitting a big block!
the ms53 looks like it could be a candidate.
does the mx32 have a full chassis/ leaf spring?

wrong, just had my 1uz in there 2 days ago without chopping firewall or extending rad support, with my pwr rad (thick) and 50mm of clearance behind it!!Originally Posted by Robbos_Toyotas
You are on crack. I suggest you get off the stuff and take a closer look.Originally Posted by Robbos_Toyotas

FYI there is a 110 series rolling Crown chassis on Ebay at the moment (link for the crackhead). Maybe take a look and get back to me genuflecting before my aweZome know'all'edge. See those rails each side - that's part of the chassis. See how there's no body yet the car is able to be driven and steered - that's an indication that it has a full chassis.
Stick to the 302 Blake.

is there any amount of "wow" factor that would make you choose a car that didnt match this criteria?
i wanna see a drag "Carina!
but a ms65 sedan would be sweet too....raised rear lowered front.
