    Default Turbo timer!!!!

    Hey guys,

Just one thing. My turbo timer isnt working when i turn the car off... Its only letting the turbo cool when im on the last click before i switch off the ignition...

Could some one please think of what it would be as im forever waiting for the car to cool down before i can switch the car off and walk away...

    Cheers

the feed wire for the ignition system via the turbo timer needs to be moved to somewhere with a constant +12v power supply. when you switch the ignition off completely, this feed is interupted.

although it could have been wired this way purposefully because leaving an unattended running car is illegal.

celicas and most other cars have 2 ignition wires that keep the engine running, the turbo timer needs to be wired into both of those wires, find the other one that has 12v when the engine is running and the voltage disapears when the ignition is switched off. and it should work...

Use a multimeter and check which wire has a constant 12v supply.
