    there's HALF a chance... HALF I repeat.......

If you guys rub me up the right way, I might. I've just got to get out to Arthurs creek to fix the car and bring it back to Ivanhoe to be able to drive it on friday night.

I wont be making it down, but as for how to get there, Calder Park is basically out west of Melbourne. It is right beside the Calder Freeway and so is very easy to get to.

Big map of Melbourne below. Calder park is on the A79 (Calder freeway), just near where the red "39" is.

And a closeup with Calder park on the far left of screen:

As you head toward Clader park you'll see a turnoff for "Calder Park Drive", DON'T take this turn. The entry to Calder park is directly off the freeway. If you need petrol and/or snacks there is a BP with 98 opposite the track, but you need to drive about 1-2km past the track before you can do a U-turn and come back into the servo.

All the above info can be found in a Melways or from street-directory.com if you are in doubt. I hope it's a good night.

Bummer. You had to pic the night of my work xmas party. I've been wanting to go have another run for ages.

Ah well good luck to you all.

Ed go have a run. Then we'll take 0.5 of a second off your time and you'll have my time.

hey cool, i am in werribee visting nanna and grandad, is anyone keen too meet up somewhere?

hurricane you will prolly go past here wont you?

i still dont know what time everything starts, i dont know cost or anything (i have been slack)!@!!!

if anyone is coming to spectate that will be cool, my wife will need someone to sit with so she isnt all alone...

i am still down for it, maybe we could have a meet up somewhere near calder beforehand.

just checked out the website : http://www.motorsport.com.au/events.htm

gates open 5pm, racing starts at 6pm.

    competitors is $65, spectators/crew $20.

if anyone has a video camera maybe they could go 'crew' to get a better view of the race or something?

anyway how about a meet at 4-4:15pm? or even earlier if everyone wants to chinwag....
