    Default Intercooler flow direction

    Hi all,

Im going to front mount the standard 4agze intercooler on to my AE71. The thing is because both input and out output are on the same side, i want to know if its possible to hook the input to the bottom and the output is the top one. Does air flow from bottom to top or have i got it all wrong?

Hmm, yair but i would have thought thats cos its getting cooled it'd become heavier and stagant. Then only be forced through by the sc.

you can't spell, and hot air rises doesnt matter in intercoolers.

biggo, you can hook it up any way you want. make sure it doesnt leak and is being fed lots of cool airflow it will be fine. those intercoolers arent the greatest of things anyway so it really wont make any difference.

IMO although for such a small cooler, charge from charger into top connection,
    bottom connect into throttle

peace back, was just giving you a tip for when you do have an interview

biggo, good luck with it. make sure you mount it in front of the radiator and buy the hose from the purple piug if there is one nearby where you live, no need for silicone.

Well i was gonna use reducers cos i havent turned the sc output around to face the front yet. So 2 inch to 1.5 into the bottom of the ic then 1.5 to intake should work hopefully?

don't stress too much biggo, no matter which way u place the piping it will make no differance at all for a cooler that small,
