Apologies to everyone for not making it today.

I've fallen prey to the summer flu (on xmas day of all times to get it). I wanted to come down and meet everyone.

Hope today was a fun drive and will catch you at the next one.

    Dave

wooohooo i got home!!! be it a little bit late, went to the donut pad near a mates places and got her all dirty, pissed coolant everywhere and perhaps cooked the motor well smoke was coming out of the overflow bottle so i did somthing right

it was a good drive, i was surprised i kept up with u guys, also surprised that my car didnt shit itself... excepting the fuel issues (was the pump earth wire that came disconnected so the carby was sucking fuel from the tank!!)

Would've liked to have been there, with 4 kids 6 & under things get a little hectic though and hard to get out to cruises.

well guys, great day had by all, few of the happy snaps are below, i've got more, will just zip them all up, and if anyone wants hi-res versions of any of them, or of the whole lot, pm me your e-mail, and i'll send the whole set rather then try and figure out which is which...

thanks again to all who came, hopefully next time we'll have a few more '28's and more cars in general, would be great to have a really big convoy...

    enjoy

to all the guys who PM'd me their e-mail addresses, i've got a bit of a problem.. the zip file of all images is 118Mb... and the connection here at the folks place will probably crash before it uploads, when i tried it didn't even START to upload... just crashed... i'll burn them to CD, then load them from my connection at home, might even try uploading via torrent... everyone know how to use torrents?

does everyone have inbox space for 100+mb e-mail??

    cheers

nice effort... would have made a good show on the day too, only one modern powered classic there, and that was kirks 190rwkw 1G '28, but he was driving like a granny... lol... the ol' carby engines had it all over him.

Sounds like everyone had a good day. So when's the next cruise?? I would like to have joined in but had some unexpected stuff come up.

I just want to give a small reminder, if there is a cruise being organised, it is law (under the new hooning laws) that the cops are provided with layout of the cruise. The penalties I believe are higher if the cops happen to catch a car driving extreamly fast and even doing a slight burnout if there not aware of the run.

Majority of the time they leave you alone. I think it maybe best to find out more information regarding this,

No its not a necessity to tell the police that you are organising a cruise. If it is a big cruise, you can notify the police to let them know..... They perfer this so they can keep an eye on you. But it is in no way the law to do it.Who ever told you that made up a pretty good fib Or the police officer that handed out the tickets telling you that "loaded" you up.Us queenslanders keep to the rules when on a cruise. On your own your welcome to do whatever you want, but creating attention for everyone else by breaking the law is unwelcome on cruises...

Im hella disappointed I couldnt go on this cruise.. but my ta22 isnt going back onto the road until I'm completely happy with her. At the moment she needs a little bit more work. Until then, happy cruising
