    Question Help with my clutch

    hey guys and girls,
    the clutch in my sx seca is just about stuffed and was considering putting in a bit more heavy duty clutch or just a normal one depending on the costs. is there any other toyota clutches i could get outta a new car from the wreckers? thanks any help is appreicated

    For the trouble you have to go to to do a clutch, a new one is the way to go.
    You need to machine the flywheel even with a secondhand clutch etc.
    just get an exedy replacement clutch and machine the flywheel!
    There is nothing worse than doing a job twice for no reason!

    gotta second mick on this one, go the extra distance and buy a new one. i just bought a heavy duty exedy for bout 270, paid 35 to get my flywheel machined. next step up in clutches was a 4 puck "sports tuff" from memory. when i spoke to the guy he told me the heavy duty was only gonna be about 100 on top of a new stock clutch.
