    which of those is going to be the more useful and accurate item? a $15 guage versus $350 worth of sensor and controller?

    Plus the whole point of this thread is wideband sensors - which the $15 meter doesn't know how to use.

    When you're tuning you want to know what AFR you are running - which is a bit more specific than : lean, stoich or rich.

    Thanks for all the info guys. I am just going to keep the stock ecu for the moment and was thinking of upgrading the ecu later. That innovative one seems to be a reasonable price i might look into that a bit further.
    I can't see the point of wasting money on a dyno run just to check the afr's that is why i was looking at gauges.

    the haltech unit is good but a massive sting to the wallet. nice big digits, and the 22 led display, can change it to do fancy things, the unit is compatible with anything, and doesnt need to be hooked up to an ecu to function properly....its really just the invovate unit rebadged, but seems to be cheaper through haltech.

    Only the shittiest of wines come in 5 litres
