    Hey my name's Adam
my initials are AC, which turned to Acey (spelling is cooler), then eventually Ace, hence my username.
I've just turned 18 and still on my P's but i drive a 74 TA22 which is basically original, im lucky i haven't had to restore it like most of you other old school owners.
i've just finished yr 12 and will hopefully get a job soon so i can spend more money on my car
I've been on the old forums a bit contributing every now and then but mostly leanring from all you wise people.
I doubt i'll ever become a member tho (no offence), just 'cos im in adelaide and wouldnt be able to attend any meetings/cruises.

    cheers, ace

I am also known to drive down to the shops in a KE20, (but mine takes about 11 "minutes" down the quarter!)

    hey's - Stu here

I Drive whats currently referred to around these forum parts as " the mongrel " or the Gt4 group A hybrid ..

Its a DIY labour of pain and constant suffering that often leaves me Crying at night , and making noises like a flapping fish ..

Anyway - Im one of the other interstate financial members on here ( as far as i know one of only a handful from victoria )

I will be up soon to make a mockery of Andrews Gt-Rav - as soon as my health improves, and also to finally show you guys in sydney all the effort thats gone on to the grey car since you last saw it in its stocko glory!

im Ben, drive a 72 ta22 with 2tg. Had it for over 15 years. I am beginning to grow out of it. Want to give it a new breath of life so purchased a stock 3tgte, w57 (i think), heaps of 3tg parts, and just about to buy another 72 ta22. Does anyone have any spare room in their yard? All the 3tg bits are seperate and i am unsure if i have everything for the engine (its like a big jigsaw puzzle!). I have found these forums a great source of information! Not just on the 3tg, but chassis information and classifieds.

Over summer 05/06 i plan on powering up the 3tgte, restore and respray one of the 72 ta22s, and drop the 3tgte into the rebuilt chassis. I work fulltime as an electronic (hardware) engineer, do a lot of waterskiing/wakeboarding. Just quietly, i dont really have the time to do any of the celica mods that are planned. But i mean well.
    Ben.

Hey, im Shannon, im 18, i tint windows on cars and houses for a living and own a GZ20 Soarer. Before this i had a Drift Spec N13 Pulsar (Trust me, it went sideways..) and before that a N12 Pulsar "Sedan" (Rare, dont see them much) in which i put a E15ET engine out of an ET Pulsar, worked it myself, fully rebuilt the engine, stroked to 1.7L, bigger turbo etc... Went pretty good.. Had a few other cars as well, including a Corona Avante, Ford KB Carby turbo laser, VL commy, and a couple more...

    Hi Toymods crew & users,

I'm Kenny from Townsville in FNQ. I'm 32, a retired Carpenter (got smart) and I now work as a Retail manager for Hardware business (using brains instead of Brawn). I also run my own small business called "Delivered Concepts" where I do custom fabrication and design work on weekends for clients needing anything from rust repairs through too Shaving taillights and doors, general body mods etc etc. So it all keeps me busy.

I've owned a few Toyotas and have also liked the engineering behind them plus I'm not a fan either Ford or Holden. I've owned an 84 XT Celica liftback (first car and should have never sold it), 79 Celica Liftback, 71 RN10 Hilux and my current Toyota project is an RN90R Extracab 2WD Hilux. It's got No wheels, it's not lowered and it has no body mods but... It does have a S4 13B Turbo conversion with Mild Turbo Port, GT42/45R, Manualised & Transbaked C4 auto, 6500rpm stally, 3.5' S/S Rotoflo Exhaust and the usual supporting mods. It made 275hp ATW @ 5psi and it has run a best ET of 13.6 @ 103mph (old 5 spd) and struggled to hit 13.8 @ 100mph with the new auto (Converter too tight). Both runs were done on 8 inch ET street slicks. I bought my Hilux to be a fun daily (on Light Truck tyres it definitely is) and a mate of mine dubbed it "Rotofry" which seems to suit it. It's daily duties are now limited as I haven't been able to leave it alone (repairs and mods) plus using 55L per 200km it was hurting my pocket.

Anyway enough waffle from me... Thanks to the forums mods for having such a great source of info available and I look forward to learning as much as I can and then in time sharing what I have learnt. I'll be starting a build thread soon so I will update this post with a link when it sorted.

    Cheers Kenny

Dont see many rotors in these forums or Toyota's often, sounds interesting. Old Celica's sound good! You could find a neat one these days as price is dramatically low..
