im pretty sure thats where we put the clutch master cylinder when we converted it to manual
Can someone please confirm that both of these cars (AE86/TA22) use a clutch master cylinder that mounts to the firewall by means of two bolts which are vertically aligned?

Thanks in advance for the forthcoming knowledge
EDIT: PS, I googled the feck out of the intahweb and every pic I found the damn inlet manifold or airfilter (4AC) was blocking the view. Couldn't find any stripped engine bay pics either, even though I have seen them before when I didn't need to see them.

Thanks for that kugzs, that confirms 50% of what I thought. Now to confirm the AE86 bolts are also vertically aligned![]()

i ordered a clutch master cylinder for both my ae86 and my girlfriends ta22 at the same time. when i got them, they had two different part numbers but were IDENTICAL from what i could gather. infact i rung the parts shop so they could tell me which was which but im pretty sure they were identical.
sorry to bring up a dead thread but don't want to make another, Does anyone have the genuine part number for the clutch master cylinder? I need to replace mine, but looking at seeing what the genuine part costs vs pbr
why dont you just ring toyota and ask?
for anyone interested i got one the other day for a friend, think it was like $30 from auto pro.
yea thats what I am planning to do tomorrow, but last time I called and asked for a part number I was on hold for a while, thought id get it so they didn't have to look and keep me on the phone. no biggy, ill probably just get it through work anyway ,thought id compare the price first before I order it
