Hi,
It could be a few things. As OC mentioned, get a long screw-driver and put the blade end against various parts of your engine, and the handle to your ear-hole. With the engine running you move the blade about and you will hear the knocking sound come through the driver to your earhole. You'll know when you're over the area where the noise is coming from as it will be coming loud through the driver and into your earhole. It's an old trademen secret to find elusive noises.
You need to try and determine where the knocking is coming from or you'll just get a thread full of maybe this or maybe that. When you get the area where the sound is coming from then we can offer a more definitive answer... if possible.
Naturally, be careful when doing this as you don't want the blade to hit some moving part.![]()
And finally.... as OC mentioned, please reduce your sig. The forum rules for the length of your sig is only 5 lines of text, and if you quote someone then the actual word "quote" takes up a line. Blank lines are okay, unless you have a stack of them. Please fix it up asap so your rep doesn't take a nose dive.
