    Id subscribe!

FYI: My boss has a big article/interview in an upcoming FHM (or possibly Ralph??). He races F1 boats on the Australian and world tours.

The motor actually does weigh alot more than the hull. The entire boat weight about 450kg (from memory) when fitted out with motor/tank/etc.......but 3 blokes can pick up an empty boat and carry it round quite easily!

Ive never driven one but who they work never ceases to amaze me. On the straights at full noise only the rear 2" or so of the boat touch the water but they can get upto around 10g's round corners!!!!

ment the engine on F3 boat, but it could be the same situation as the f3 is smaller hull.

Im not so sure the F3 is smaller. The bosses son races in the F3 series (won the first race he ever entered, on only his 3rd drive! He is only 17 too I think!!)....his boat has a smaller engine than the F1s but apart from that I think its fairly similar.

It is a timber hull instead of CF like the F1s, but there are still timber boats running about in the F1 series so I dont think its neccessarily a rule, probably just cost the people with the $$ for F1 also have the $$ for a full CF hull.

Anyways, sounds like a topic for another thread. I'll grab some picks of the factory one day and post it up one day.

it does make a difference in some cases, i think it was EVOSTi on here that was having fuel problems with his 4agte with pumps cutting out which was partially solved by running the return line in a different manner which resulted in cooler fuel flowing through the fuel pump keeping it cooler

Just looking at your drawing Bill. One of thoes spun alloy drink bottles upside down with a few strategically placed pipes stuck in at the correct angle would work a treat. The volume may not be much but for what it costs, it's probably worth a try.

Oh I guess you could have welding problems depending on what the drink bottle is made of.

Anthony.. the RA28 could sport a very fancy upside down drink bottle that even has my name on it! How cool would that be.

A AE86 could also sport one with the owners name on it

But hmm nah it's working too well for the gym visits at the moment.

I have seen on a number of manufacturers cars over the years temperature sensors IN the fuel rail to measure fuel temp and alter injector pulsewidth.
