how much does a cressi weigh?

hey guys,

Just trying to take a stab and how quick my hilux will be, just wondering how much a 1J cressi would weigh?

Bone stock MX83 Cressidas weigh 1450kg. I'd say with a 1JZ and FMIC, etc they would be about the same, maybe 25Kg more.

and they tend to run mid 14's with 1js' at 165km/h?

so my hilux being 1180 + 1J + bits = probably 1250.. so i should crack into the 13's?

yeh 13's sounds about right might be able to crack 12's with 90/10's & 10/90's and a smalls and bigs tyre set up

Ignore weights from pamphlets and rego papers.

In my experience they tend to be way off.

The MX73 is listed at 1360kg, in both the Aus MX73 Toyota booklet, and on my rego papers.
The Canadian book lists it as 1510kg.
That is much closer to the truth.

The only way 1360kg would be correct would be with no fuel/oil/coolant/brake fluid/trannyfluid/spare/toolkit etc.

Even my 1uz manual MX73 weighed in at 1390kg with no fuel.

i didnt know that, maybe id be better off at a weigh station specially since i got the grande with extra stuff like the electric drivers seat,

in general the MX83 GLX is 1450kg and the MX83 Grande is 1500kg (taking in account for ABS, electirc front seat etc.)

Don't forget to add the drivers weight

My car (1jz auto xt130 corona) weighs 1280kg/2800lbs with me (95kg) in it and a full tank of petrol Apparently, it only weighed 1020kg stock and it is stripped out now.

Go to your local tip and they will weigh it for you
