    Default Removing plastic gauge cover

Hey guys. I'm having trouble removing the plastic cover from my ta22 oil/charge gauge. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to remove it?

    Thanks

    Simple.

    DONT! they ar so fragile!

Basically two metal tabs clamping a plastic lug.
If you have fine picks or something bend the tabs out away from the platic tabs.

The the reverse would be bend metal tabs in and then carefully push cover in.

I can take the plastic cover off one of mine, i can't take it off my other (well without going too far to break it).
They're very delicate and the plastic tabs WILL snap eventually.
Why do you want to take it off? bent needle?

    Thanks guys,

Yea I was trying to bend the metal tabs back, but couldn't get anything small enough to bend them.

The reason I want to take it off is beacause I'm making my gauges white. So far they are good, if only the oil/charge gauge was like the others.

    Thanks
