Superb Thanks to all involved in organising another ripper event, both social and competitive.

I had a blast running the 1JZ panelvan for the first time at a Toynats drag meet. Chasing Stitt's wagon down the track after he hosed me from the start-line almost resulted in a brown-undie moment with some sideways action through the deep end of the track, but was the best fun i've had losing a race ever!

If only there were more Easters each year! bring on the next one

    Cheers
    Phil

Don't have them yet River, will post them up when Grant gets them to me. I'd hazard he probably needs a few days Nationals free after a big weekend like that. I'll have them up next week I reckon

Home safe, totally stuffed after that drive (and a certain troublesome turbo-RA40 *looks at teh chuckster* ) which had a bad habit of pulling over in every major & minor town we went thru to have another glitch fixed. last I saw it was all working good, and I hope it gets back there in one piece... as well as Adam in the AW11, and Wilbo in his fresh ride. Racked up 2000+ km's in that round trip, and I'm proud that my Celi didn't gobble as much oil as I thought it would, and still had marvellous economy.

sadly I don't have many pics of the Nat's because my camera grew legs one night and somehow disappeared, but thankfully some good samaritan handed it in to Grant & Danae and my frustration was alleviated. great to catch up with everyone there that I knew, and loads others that I didn't. was my first Nationals, and I'm glad that I finally got to go there this year... and I'll do my utmost to get back there next year, once my ride gets a heart transplant.

some damn fine Toyota's to cream over, as well as very fast ones. thanks to the Supra guys for leting us 162 boys flock with them during the show 'n' shine, good bunch of guys. word-up to the Adelaide boys as well... cunny-funts every one of them. a huge thanks to the organisers of the event and to Toyota, done a great job hosting it.

Wow, that's a lot of photo's Nathan. I'm not even half way through, I'll pick up where I left off next time. It's a shame I missed it this year, but hopefully I will get myself a better car & make the next one. Nathan, I hope your mobile kept itself dry at the presentation dinner this year.

Damn those Roman's, if they were half as good at rounding up long haired hippies carrying baskets of fish and bread as they were building flushing toilets we'd have a Dubbo once a month

Another memorable year. Kinda relaxing not having the GT8 there (certainly easier on the throat)...until the drags that is where the right foot developed a pronounced twitch.

ran a flat 9 first up and only got slower from there.

Lapping in stitty's wagon and being pulled over by the local undercover with the empty beer bottles in the dickie seat was pretty amusing. Especially when stitty was waearing his race helmet and leaning out the rear window!

I haven't laughed so hard in ages, it was great!
