umm, might be a silly question here, but I'm not quite 100% on the water-fastness of my ride, and if I might get a free shower in the carwash... I guess hand-washing it with a bucket of water (out there) is out of the question right?

edit: is there a CarLovers out there or is it a drive-through wash? sorry, should have asked before.

(hope you all have a great time, unfortunately i have a scheduled event on at WSID friday and saturday so i cant come again this year.) Shane
So Shane now that its not on, does this mean you can make it to Dubbo!!!

Anyone that knows someone with a toyota that might be interested in going to the Nats due to WSID being cancelled may still enter, provided that you e-mail or fax your form by tonight and payment must be made tomorrow.

P.S. there were still two rooms available yesterday and one family room!!

    Hi Guys & Girls,

Whilst official entries to most events has closed, you can still enter the Show 'n' Shine on Friday evening and drags on the day at the gate(although for a higher price than through Nationals entry) and entries are accepted through the Dubbo City Car Club, not the Nationals. Just remember, it's heads up racing now, not bracket anymore

The Matilda is practically booked out, only 1 or so rooms left available, but there are lots of hotels on that main strip (Cobra St) that are within walking distance of the Matilda so you can still come, even if you havn't planned too

If you have nothing on, this long weekend, make your way out to Dubbo if you havn't already registered and be part of this awesome event!

I spoke to Dubbo Car Club and they will keep the cost the same for entry on the day i.e. $80 including ANDRA fee. When you consider show and shine is $15 on its own but free for drags that's really only $65. It would be great to see some of you 4 cylinder atmo guys out there. I even got a late entry for a female 4AGE Sprinter owner who is giving the drags a go! So don't be shy boys; put your 2T, 18R or 4A to the test.

To be honest guys, this is probably the last year the drags will be run so this is the year to drag if you are at all keen. The fact is that Dubbo Car Club face ever rising costs and this will make it near uneconomical for us to participate in the future. ANDRA fee went from $500 to $1000 and ambulance stand-by went from $1000 to $2000 in one year! Don't let that be a downer for this year though. The event will be a hoot as always

OK, any Toymodders in need of a bed for this years Nationals? Unfortunately the person I was sharing with has bailed last minute and I've got a room bigger than I need now. Looking at $138 for the Friday/Sat/Sunday nights, which is half the room cost. Room is just a basic double one out the front with a single and double bed, will toss a coin for who gets the double

PM me if interested, I'm going to try to get a Single room at the Matilda tomorrow, but don't like my chances...
