    I hear ya 1JZ~lux
Heres a picture of my unbreakable lux
The first year I drove it down I lost the lock nut key so I couldn’t take the back wheels off. That didn’t stop my though. I had a great time, frying the tyres in the water before the race.
Just don’t go dumping it off the line, ease through the gears and you should be good.
The second year I went prepared, I took some stokies
    Regards,

Guys, we really need your entry forms in for numbers, especially for the drags(to let DCC know how many we have). I know you want to save them all for next week, but if you send them our way ASAP that would be fantastic!

    Hey Guys,

there seem to be alot of people on here talking bout goin to the Nats.

i was at Grants last night sorting out my entry and there aren't heaps of entrants yet.

If you are bothering to take you car all the way to dubbo and hang out, why not pay the extra $15 and put it in the show and shine at least.

Each year there are heaps of cars that turn up and hang out but don't enter. Without our support this event may not continue to run.

it is only $15 - thats like 2 drinks in sydney..... even if you don't think your car is show worthy, there are probly interesting things that other people would like to see, and you would have PARTICIPATED in the event.

Anyways i'll see all you clowns out there!!!!

    Cheers

Absolutely! That's why I'm bringing the AE71. It's almost original, has Playboy seat covers and Elvis hangs off the rear vision mirror, matt paint and a wonderfully tired oil-burning 4AC. I think people would want to see this artifact of the mid-80s and that's why I'm bringing it.

I was thinking about entering it in the Drags, but she's going to use about 3litres of oil for the trip and I don't want to spend more money on oil.

So, I'll get my forms in this weekend.

MAZMAN, i would be very very suprised if you broke something out there, with the horsepower you have there will be no traction so you would be very unlikley to break something wtih wheel spin. however, if the drag radials hook up and you get axle trap, get off it instead of staying in it.

drag radials are prone to axle trap and thats when you may break something in the driveline.

hope you all have a great time, unfortunately i have a scheduled event on at WSID friday and saturday so i cant come again this year.

That's what I've done. I doubt that there is any chance of my lux getting a place in the show 'n' shine with all its stone chips on the front, rust covered tray and brake dust stained wheels (it's eating the crome )but it'll be there.
