Last year was good .. this year was way more social which even if it was just a giant social, no shows .. id be there.

A suggestion to address concerns of not enough categories in the SNS?

if all the attending clubs (Toymods, CCC, TCCQld, etc) put in some dollars for trophies, it might allow organisers to have a greater range of classes and possibly expand the awards to cover greater detail (e.g. seperate awards for interior, exterior, engine bay, etc). This might have a flow-on effect for encouraging more entries into the classes that the event is missing out on (e.g. classic restotorations and original/factory)?


... and although i've said it elsewhere - great event! muchos kudos to Grant, Dave and Grant's better half! Will be back next year, hopefully with more mexicans.

For all you guys that went to the Toyota nationals and for those who didn't, I would like to introduce you to my friend Azhar. He to me is a forgotten hero. He with his family, wife and three kids, drove all the way from Campbeltown to Newcastle, then all the way to Dubbo. Due to some stupid rule handed down to him, about fuel lines, he couldn’t race on the Sunday. I didn’t hear him complaining about anything but actually enjoy the rest of the weekend by taking the family to the zoo and jail. Anyway just today I found some footage of him drifting last weekend, so I thought I’de share it with you all.
